He has a PhD in practical theology and is described as having ‘a deep investment in urban ministry, and a passion for the city of Melbourne’. He is the author of several books, including the award-winning God Next Door: Mission and Spirituality in the Neighbourhood. He lives in North Melbourne. Come and Visit St Mary's
|
Visitors are welcome at St Mary's, which is open for prayer and private reflection, or just quiet time, each day from 8am to 5pm. The current church building was begun in 1858 and there are many beautiful features for visitors to enjoy. There is an ongoing restoration project, and tax deductible contributions are always welcome. There are leaflets in the church porch or you may speak with the Vicar if you would like to know more about supporting this heritage building. Church services at St Mary's are held on Sundays at 8am and 10am. |
